Short Bio

Kun Zhang is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education, Central China Normal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2010), and joined the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning in 2012.

His research focuses on AI applications in special education, particularly quantitative assessment and intelligent educational intervention for autism spectrum disorders. He teaches courses including Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Python Programming, and Project Practice: Python Language.

Associate professor Zhang has participated in several national and ministerial research projects, including sub-project of the National Key R&D Program of China, grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and project supported by the Humanities and Social Science Fund of Ministry of Education of China. He has published over 30 academic papers, obtained more than 10 authorized patents, and held 20 software copyrights. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the First Prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked 7th).
